This Dubbel is a dark, reddish brown colored pour with a very dark, tan head. The smell is very comparable to the Oud Bruin, being rather woody. Overall, it's a smooth brew with a bit of a hoppy bite. The smell is nicely complimented by an almost burnt caramel taste though very lightly. We'd say it's one of the better Petrus brews.
