That’s right, folks. Those blokes over there in the UK are looking at higher beer prices next year, too. Not only for taxes though, but their harvests are down as well. With escalation and inflation, the average price of a pint over the pond has doubled over the last two decades, but some anticipate it to more than double again just next year, estimating a rise to nearly four pounds.
Check out the original article here, and see for yourself. As you read along, you’ll see the brits feeling the same pain as we do in another way. They can’t smoke in their pubs anymore either. And bread, gas, gasoline, insurance and others or all going up as well. Well damn, I guess we’re not that different after all, are we? Listen up people, you can beat us down, take our food, burn our homes and charge us whatever you like to stay relatively healthy, but don’t mess with our damn beer! I foresee some political restructuring in the not too distant future.
