You may have noticed a missing brew last week. This is due to the fact that we have now reviewed the same beer twice. It happens to be the Cutthroat Porter by Odell Brewing Company. Oops! The interesting thing is that we actually rated it about the same overall however some of the impressions and comments that were made we way different. Friday, October 1st, 2010Today marks the 5th month we have been trying and recommending brews. 85 Brews have been tasted and quite frankly very surprised with the quality of many of them. Granted there have been a few that were bad. We do not like to call any beer a bad beer but some of these were just terrible. It has been quite the fun ride thus far and we hope to keep going as long as we possibly can. Overall our strategy on how we have been picking brews has been rather random. We pretty much walk into the store and start looking for names and bottles that catch our eye. I suppose there is a more scientific way to choose the brews, but hey we never said we were professionals right!?
